Continuing legal/judicial education during the past five (5) years
I have attended legal educational program sessions (1-3 hours each) through continuing legal education courses organized by MICPEL, the Maryland State Bar Association, or the Maryland Association for Justice. These have included those concerning family law, trial practice, immigration, criminal law, malpractice prevention, civil procedure/evidence, and bankruptcy. Also, I regularly review numerous secondary legal resource materials, Maryland case law and advance case report services. During the last few years I attended and/or completed the annual Worcester County Bar seminar on various legal topics. I also completed a three day seminar of educational courses at the annual meeting of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys in California, a three day Bankruptcy Institute concerning creditor and debt collection abuse, and a three day seminar on tort law practice in Washington, D.C.
